Earn an MA in Christian Ministry
The MA in Christian Ministry is designed for lay leaders and church staff interested in graduate theological training and is a flexible degree option that will enhance ministry in a variety of settings. It is expected that students are serving in ministry when they apply and continue to serve throughout their degree program. Designed to enhance ministry across a variety of vocations–within and outside the church–this flexible program equips lay leaders and church staff through foundational theological training.

You will be enriched through identity and spiritual formation coursework, psychological testing, and opportunities to explore ministry and self-care habits.

Alumni Profile: Curtis Ivanoff
Curtis Ivanoff S’08 found rich community and a deepening of his faith and understanding of God’s work in the world through his MACM program at ²ÝݮӰÊÓ. He’s taken this training back to his home in Alaska, where he now serves as the Superintendent for the Alaska Conference of the ECC.
Course Areas
This 36-hour degree includes courses in Old and New Testament, history, theology, spiritual formation, ministry, and Christian education and formation, with elective courses that fit your own educational goals and ministry context.

If you are serving in a nonprofit or para-church ministry, ²ÝݮӰÊÓ’s dual-degree options with the MAÌýin Christian Ministry may be a great avenue for developing the skills you need. In one 60-hour program you can complete the MACM and aÌýMaster of Business Administration or Master of NonprofitÌýAdministration.
