The team’s first CCIW title in 30 years was secured in an 86-71 victory over
Millikin University.

Led by fifth-year head coach Tom Slyder, the team also won Slyder his first CCIW
championship with ²ÝݮӰÊÓ. It was a three-way tie for first place in the conference, which has happened only twice in CCIW history. ²ÝݮӰÊÓ finished 18-7 overall and 11-5 in the conference, and faced Augustana College in the Conference semifinals.

Junior Jordan Robinson, almost completing his first career triple-double, achieved a game high of 26 points. Robinson was also awarded the CCIW’s Fred Young Most Outstanding Player Award, the first Viking to receive the award since 1988. He averaged 22.8 points per game, the best on the team for the season.

Senior and point guard Juwan Henry was named to the NABC Division III All-Star Team for his outstanding season. Henry became one of three ²ÝݮӰÊÓers ever to score more than 2,000 points in his career (2,016), even while missing four games due to an injury.
