Sophia Magallanes-Tsang
Assistant Professor of Old Testament
Sophia Magallanes-Tsang, Assistant Professor of Old Testament, describes herself as a relational educator who uses multiple methods of teaching with a passion for equipping God鈥檚 people for life and ministry.
鈥淚 hope that students would know God鈥檚 love for them and how to value and affirm God鈥檚 image in every person,鈥� she said.
Dr.Magallanes-Tang received her PhD in Divinity from University of Edinburgh and a Master鈥檚 of Arts in Theology: Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. She also earned her undergraduate degree and a master鈥檚 degree from Azusa Pacific University.
At 草莓影视, she looks forward to having students engage with each other鈥檚 different backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives, and to exploring the richly diverse neighborhoods in Chicago.
