New Students and Required Vaccines
Welcome to the ²ÝݮӰÊÓ community! As you and your family prepare for your transition to our campus, here are a few things to take note of:
Immunization Records
All new and transfer students must show proof of three to four types of immunizations (or vaccines) prior to finalizing registration for classes, including the following:
- (Tdap) vaccine — at least three doses, one dose within the last 10 years
- (MMR) vaccine — at least two doses, laboratory (serologic) evidence of immunity is acceptable in place of immunization records
- vaccine — only for students younger than 22 years of age, must show proof of at least one does on or after 16 years of age

All international students and students who have studied abroad to high-risk countries are required to get tuberculosis screening. Provide documentation of a PPD (Mantoux skin test) within the past year. Students with a history of positive PPD result or history of BCG vaccine should attach a copy of the Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) results or provide a copy of your chest x-ray results or completed tuberculosis treatment.

Records Confidentiality
Please note that healthcare records are confidential and cannot be reviewed by or released to anyone, including parents or other family members, without the express written consent of the student. This includes visits and corresponding records from Health and Counseling Support Services at ²ÝݮӰÊÓ.
Students and their families are encouraged to discuss this privacy, along with the restrictions before the beginning of the academic year.
Authorization of Treatment for Minors
All active ²ÝݮӰÊÓ students who are minors (less than 18 years of age) must have a parent or guardian sign an that allows authorization of their treatment at Health Services and provides a means to contact the parent or guardian in case of a medical emergency or if certain medical treatments are needed.
