Counseling Center Assessment of Psychological Symptoms-Screen from the Center for Collegiate Mental Health (CCMH) at Penn State

The is a mental health screening instrument that assesses the most common psychological problems experienced by college students. Students can complete the CCAPS-Screen within 2鈥3 minutes using a smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop device. Once complete, responses are instantly scored, which generates the CCAPS-Screen profile report for review. The technology that administers, scores, and stores the CCAPS-Screen data neither collects nor retains any identifiable or Protected Health Information (PHI) from the student. The screening is designed for students to anonymously self-screen on their own personal devices and does not include review of the results with a professional. Students who report elevated distress and/or thoughts of ending their life should seek support following the local/national crisis resources listed on the profile report.
