International First-Year Students
International first-year students have not started or completed university-level coursework yet. If you have recently graduated or will be graduating from secondary school/upper secondary/college (equivalent to high school in the United States), please follow the instructions below:
Admission Process
To submit an application, please click “Sign Up” to register your email and verify your email address by clicking the link sent to you. You will need to complete all the required fields, sign, and then submit your application. If you have questions about your application, please email admissions@northpark.edu.
You can also apply using The Common App.
Official transcripts must be submitted to ²ÝݮӰÊÓ by a high school principal, administrator, teacher, or counselor. Transcripts emailed by students will not be accepted.
Students must be on track to complete secondary school (equivalent to grade 12 in USA) within 3 months of commencing university studies.
If admitted while final semester of high school is in progress, a final transcript must be submitted following graduation confirming graduation date.

Academic recommendations are letters written and submitted by a current or former teacher attesting to your academic abilities within the classroom. Please use the online application to submit request a recommendation. All you need to do is submit the email address of a recommender of your choice and ²ÝݮӰÊÓ will send them an inquiry on your behalf.
SAT or ACT tests are optional and not required for admission. If taken, please have scores submitted to ²ÝݮӰÊÓ by the testing agency.

²ÝݮӰÊÓ does not offer an English as a second language program (ESL) and we require international students to submit proof of English proficiency. Our testing requirements are as follows:
TOEFL iBT: 80 (lesser scores may be considered based on individual subject scores)
IELTS: 6.0 (lesser scores may be considered based on individual subject scores)
Duolingo: 105
Pearson PTE: 53
Cambridge English Assessment: B2
Oxford ELLT: 7 (Use promo code ‘‘ to receive a discounted price on test)
An essay may be asked of you if we need more information to make the admissions decision.
International students studying in the United States will require visa sponsorship. Students will be required a Form I-20 in order to apply for the F-1 (nonimmigrant visa) student visa. Before ²ÝݮӰÊÓ can sponsor your Form I-20, the student must be admitted to the university and have submitted the following documents:
- Copy of passport identification page (please scan and email to medrake@northpark.edu)
- Bank statement (bank statements must show a minimum of 6 months of deposits and be in the name of the individual taking responsibility for your payments)
- affidavit of support
