Study Spanish in Ecuador

Cuenca Study Abroad Program

Each Spring Semester Quad A (January through mid March), a group of ²ÝݮӰÊÓ students are accompanied by a member of the Spanish Department faculty to live and study in Cuenca for eight weeks. This immersive study-abroad experience is perfect for ²ÝݮӰÊÓ students who are majoring or minoring in Spanish. After completing three semesters of college-level Spanish coursework, or the equivalent, ²ÝݮӰÊÓ students can apply to participate in a study abroad experience in Cuenca, in the south central region of Ecuador. This program pairs intensive study in Spanish language and Latin American culture with travel, service opportunities, and host family living.
