Spanish Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will develop communicative proficiency in Spanish using the skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  2. Students will be able to describe sociocultural norms in different Spanish-speaking countries.
  3. Students will be able to discuss different literary content (periods, genres, movements, major writers).
  4. Students will be able to critically analyze major literary works.
  5. Students will be able to identify and describe several aesthetic styles (e.g., music, dance, art, architecture) present in Spanish-speaking countries.
