Program Requirements
Students completing their doctor of nursing practice (DNP) will complete seven semesters of online coursework and visit ²ÝݮӰÊÓ’s campus once a semester.
Admission Requirements
- Completed application form in NursingCAS.
- MSN or MS with a major in nursing degree from a US accredited program. Applicants are to be certified as advanced practice nurses (APN) or to be master’s-prepared in administrative/leadership nursing specialties, or in related master’s nursing specialties as approved by the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences
- Official graduate transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 for all MSN/MS program courses
- Documentation of practice hours completed in MSN/MS program courses
- Essay (Two questions)
- Resume or CV
- Three letters of recommendations, at least one from current supervisor
- Current RN license
- Personal interview(s) with faculty
Degree Requirements
- 19 semester hours of core courses
- 14 semester hours of project and practicum courses
- 33 total credit hours for graduation
- 560 practicum hours over seven semesters
